I truly believe that VR will hit mainstream, but, you know, there are always those conventional end-users who believe too much in smartphones. This is what those conventional end-users might think about VR: “Why do we need to wear a VR headset, meanwhile, we have already had a smartphone that can do almost everything?” “Like, why do we need to go virtual, anyway?” “Isn’t it all about gaming? I can play games on my smartphone. Yes, it might not be as good as VR, but at least I can literally do everything on my smartphone.” “Too pricey.” “Anyway, we don’t have a high-end PC. Our smartphones already work best for us.” I think all we need is a standalone VR/AR/MR glasses that work much, much better than a smartphone. By working much better than a smartphone, it also means the VR/AR/MR headset should be able to give benefits, like, social network, online shopping, and all that—but much better.
